Brand Workshops are go!

Christina is passionately brand focused and has dedicated her career to helping businesses connect meaning and purpose to ideas. These small group workshops have been created to support small businesses and entrepreneurs by connecting those mystifying dots and helping find that sweet spot for success.

Hello Christina here!

For those of you who don’t know me I am the founder of Brand Biscuit Studio. I set this special place up because as a small, independent business I know how hard it is to get ideas launched, heck even just making them make sense on paper. I know the creative challenges you face, the boggles that block your path or the ideas that get muddled because they are stuck fast in your brain and you don’t know how to get them out! It can be incredibly frustrating as a new or small business owner, and often a lonely place if you are an entrepreneur.

If you are building a business you are building a brand. They go hand in hand and should seamlessly affect how your ideas grow and perform. These small group sessions are designed to help you identify your DNA, all the elements that make your business as individual as you. Helping you to define your story with exercises to boost creative thinking and channel your focus, providing solid foundations to build a brilliant business.

I love working in small groups, by sharing your boggles helps others in the group see the commonalities we all share as small businesses. Supporting each other and gaining that all-important external view that isn’t from your friend or your family. Who we all love dearly, I owe huge gratitude to mine, but sometimes a professional sounding board is what you need but hard to come by if you don’t know where to start.

Today 99% of EU businesses are SMEs (Small to Medium Enterprises) yet the number of these businesses succeeding past the three-year hurdle isn’t getting any smaller. Yet we keep fighting back and still launch new ideas every day. This bothers me greatly and always has, considering the global economy relies on us chickens. This is the underbelly to why I’m investing in Small Businesses and wanted to create an environment where everyone feels welcome, regardless of budget, postcodes and number of employees.

I am excited by these workshops because they are actually useful and easy to digest. There are many books out there on ‘How to write a successful business plan’ and tons on ‘How to build a brand’, but none that effectively tackle their seamless integration. This should be the responsibility of people like me, who have a creative heart and a business head. Plus it’s nice to talk things through sometimes. The human connection and expert guidance that these books and blogs don’t give you is what I can. And want to. I feel a responsibility to pass on what I know so that you can make the best of it all post-COVID too.

We can’t be great at everything. I accept that, and quite frankly thank goodness. But if you are a builder or a candle maker your expertise may not lie in marketing and business development. So Brand Biscuit’s mission is to champion all of you who have brilliant businesses and ideas but need help in explaining, launching and growing them. Through Business Start Up Loans and investors, there is financial support out there for you too, but another one of your hurdles is presenting your idea convincingly enough that they feel your business is worth investing in.

Through applying for a Start Up Loan myself in 2020, I learned that on average a business applying for Start Up Loan support receives on average £7,500, but there is up to £25,000K for each application! This is what motivated me to launch these workshops.

To provide accessible and affordable business development support that nails the jelly. Enabling you to hone your offering enough so that your brand supports your ideas and allows for growth. While at the same time purposefully supporting your vision. Brands a built, not born. Logos and websites are important but pointless if they don’t truly reflect your business ideals and the core purpose that motivates you to become a business owner.

I am hoping to host these workshop evenings regularly for locals, with future plans to break larger course material into a Brand Bite’s series or via longer more personal sessions over a couple of days. I have a base in London too so can host workshops more centrally and online. It’s all going on! But for now if you would like a fresh pair of ears and eyes on your Pandemic Pivot get in touch and I have your back.

Thank you for supporting my small business too,
Christina :)

Just cancelled plans as my brain is bursting with ideas to get down after your workshop! The session definitely helped me feel more confident in the direction we are going
